  • From the council website www.livingstonparishcouncil.com, click on “Your Council” and then “Resource Links”.  Our office phone also provides an automated link to other departments (225-686-3027). 

  • From the council website, www.livingstonparishcouncil.com, click on “Your Council” then “Public Records” and find “Online Documents”.  There you can view each council district map.  Also, the website homepage has an Elections button which will take you to a voter portal.  There you can easily search by address to find “My Elected Officials”. Once there, scroll down to “Councilman”. 

  • Our website, www.livingstonparishcouncil.com, has a link to the council members emails and phone numbers.  Just click on “Your Council” and then “Council Members”. 

  • Agendas are published and distributed on a Tuesday the week of a council meeting at the close of business at five o’clock (5:00) p.m.  You can find them on our website at www.livingstonparishcouncil.com. If you wish, you can be added to our agenda email distribution list.  You will then receive all agendas, committees included, during the publication/distribution period.  

  • Council and committee meetings are open to the public and are held in the Livingston Parish Council chambers located in the Governmental Building addressed at 20355 Government Boulevard, Livingston, Louisiana 70754. In addition, they are televised live and are made available shortly after the meeting on the You Tube videos link.  Also, you can click a specific meeting on the website calendar to find supporting items such as the agenda, video, and minutes as they are available and uploaded.

  • If you plan to speak on a particular agenda item:

    When the chairman asks if anyone would like to give Public input on that item in the order that it is listed on the agenda, please raise your hand to be called upon by the chairman and invited to the lectern to speak. We ask that you please wait until the Chair recognizes you to approach the podium when your item of interest is up for discussion. 
    When at the podium, please clearly state your first and last name and home address for the record as you speak directly to the council. 
    As time is limited to three minutes per speaker, to maximize your time, please try to eliminate repetitiveness and exercise brevity in your comments. 
    If handouts are available, please bring a minimum of twelve copies to be handed to one of the clerks for distribution.   If possible, we ask that you do this prior to the start of the meeting. 

  • From the website homepage, www.livingstonparishcouncil.com, click on the “Codes & Ordinances” button.  This takes you to the Codes and Ordinances of the Livingston Parish Council.  From the search button at the top of the page, type in your topic, Ex. litter. 

  • You can print out the liquor/beer application packet from the council website, www.livingstonparishcouncil.com, by clicking on the “Forms and Applications” button at the bottom of the homepage. 

  • You can print out the Record Request form from the council website, www.livingstonparishcouncil.com, by clicking on the “Public Records Request” button at the bottom of the homepage. 

  • Go to the homepage at www.livingstonparishcouncil.com and scroll down to the "Contact Us" button to Submit a Request.
